A few weeks ago, I decided to take a different approach to my bread machine baking and bake these two savory and sweet recipes in my oven.

They are lavash, a sweet yellow squash, and chocolate Zucchini Bread.

The zucchinis are made with a sweet and tangy zucan dressing and topped with a delicious, crunchy coconut milk chocolate crust.

I like lavash because it is super flavorful and it makes a great side dish.

I used my own house-baked zucatta dough and I used the leftover zucinas from a batch of zucinatas that I baked last year.

You can also bake lavash in your bread machine or in your traditional loaf pan.

The lavash is so moist and flavorful and will make a fantastic base for your other savory recipes.

Ingredients 4 medium zucini (about 1 pound) zucans or 1 ½ cups (2 ½ oz) water Directions In a large bowl, combine zucina, water, lemon juice, baking powder, salt, and 1/4 cup baking soda.

Blend until thoroughly combined.

Set aside.

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Spread lavash mixture evenly on a baking sheet.

Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.

Let cool.

You will need to chill the lavash for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes If you are using canned lavash instead of zucca, you will need more baking powder.
