Banana Bread Recipe Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted and divided 1 cup (1 1/4 sticks) unsalted butter, melted 1/3 cup sugar 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 1/16 teaspoon salt 1 1 1 (1/4 cups) cups whole-wheat flour 1/1 cup milk (1 cup + 1/7 cup if using whole-grain flour) 1 egg (2 egg whites) 1/5 cup brown sugar, packed 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup all-natural flour (such as wheat flour, flax, millet, barley, or rye) Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
Stir in butter and egg and mix until blended.
Add milk, flour, and eggs, then mix until combined.
Add remaining flour and mix just until well combined.
Fold in flour mixture until dough comes together.
Place dough in greased bowl.
Place a sheet of parchment paper on the bottom of the prepared baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Let dough rest for 10 minutes before shaping into loaf.

Stir until just blended.

Add flour mixture and mix well until combined, then add vanilla extract and mix.
With a mixer on low speed, beat egg mixture until light, fluffy, and slightly stiff.
Add butter mixture and beat until smooth.
Gradually add flour mixture to dough and fold in to combine.
Shape into loaf shape.
Roll out to about 1/10-inch thickness, making sure it is the size of a grapefruit.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and lightly golden brown on top.
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Cool completely on wire rack.
To serve: Spread Banana Bread on bread and place on plate.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce and garnish with banana.
